Biography:

Coach Biography – Kylee Wells

Coach Kylee Wells serves as the Head Boys and Girls Cross Country and Track & Field Coach at Nampa High School, while also teaching Physical Education. With decades of elite-level experience as both an athlete and coach, Coach Wells brings an exceptional standard of excellence, discipline, and passion to Bulldog athletics. She is currently in her fifth year leading the Nampa High School Cross Country and Track & Field programs (2021–Present).

Playing Career

Coach Wells was a standout athlete at Gresham High School, competing in Cross Country and Track & Field from 1993–1997. She earned 1st Team Oregon All-State honors in Cross Country (1995–1996) and Track & Field (1994–1997).

She continued her elite running career at the University of Oregon, where she competed for four years (1997–2001) in Cross Country and Track & Field, representing one of the nation’s most prestigious distance-running programs.

Coaching Experience

Coach Wells began her coaching career as an Assistant Cross Country Coach at Western Oregon University (2001–2002). She then spent 17 years (2003–2020) as a Head and Assistant Coach for Cross Country and Track & Field at Reynolds High School, building a legacy of consistency, athlete development, and competitive success.

Since arriving at Nampa High School in 2021, she has continued that tradition of excellence as the Head Cross Country and Track & Field Coach, guiding the Bulldogs with a focus on performance, accountability, and team culture.

Coach Wells is a proud mother of two Bulldog student-athletes:

Sylvia Wells, 18, a Senior at Nampa High School

Lonnie Wells, 15, a Sophomore at Nampa High School
She is also supported by her boyfriend, Travis Thrall.
